I started The Win Column several years ago as an outlet to share my thoughts and experiences with those closest to me. As the Column grew, I grew with it. I found that writing about topics that I not only care deeply about, but also had significant real-world experience in were the most fun to write about. And so it began.
About Me
Born and raised in New Jersey, studied Finance, Accounting, and History at Boston College. Received my MBA from Stanford. Lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers, and later, the New York Jets when they traded for Brett Favre.
Worked on Wall Street in investment banking for Barclays, a global bulge bracket investment bank providing sell-side advisory on public and private M&A transactions and capital markets offerings.
Worked in private equity at Dubin Clark, a premier middle-market private equity fund, deploying millions of dollars in equity capital to acquire 50+ businesses in the manufacturing, services, and information technology industries.
Worked at a hedge fund that focused on long-/short fundamental-based and value-driven public equity technology, retail, and consumer products investing.
Led M&A, Finance, Corporate Development, and Strategy functions for three middle-market and large-cap, pre-IPO technology & engineering businesses in the environmental, engineering, automotive, and food & agriculture industries.
Founded, built, and exited a software technology company, Harvest Global, that provides institutional and retail clients with payment rails, technology solutions, and AI-driven insights. Successfully raised capital from top-tier venture capital investors in Silicon Valley, built a global team (3 offices), and honed my skills in executive management, product launches, and team building.
Outside work, I like to write, coach, and train. I continue to spend time watching the Jets fumble their way through football seasons, reading historical fiction novels, and building things (literally).
What’s the Newsletter About?
Much of the Column centers on deep-diving into companies, technologies/AI, and key market trends. I analyze the cross-section between human behavior and business building, and provide insights based on learnings from my lived experiences as an Entrepreneur, Private Equity and Hedge Fund Investor, Stanford MBA, and Business Executive.
You'll also occasionally find pieces on the economy, market movements, and other finance-related topics, as well as some references to current events and the media.

Winning can mean different things to different people. Here, winning is defined as the successes - no matter how big or small - that can be had by diving deep where others may not tread.
